"Inspired by land art and after a stint working in the west coast film industry some years ago, with a wide variety of professional lighting, I became hyper aware of the nuances and atmosphere created with the conscious use of lighting in my photography and installation works."
She is currently working on various projects including: light-based, nature installations on the grounds of Aberthau Mansion and a set of table top El Wire sculptures.
Wynne is a Vancouver-based interdisciplinary artist, curator and producer. Her practice focuses on the liminal space where nature and technology converge, bringing into question identity, concepts of location and the philosophy of language. She is also the Assistant Administrator/Project Manager for LocoMotoArt, board member of the Interdisciplinary Media Artist Association (IMAPON), and a co-founder/member of the Vancouver Experimental Theremin Orchestra (VETO).
She will be leading an upcoming BC Arts Council funded Youth Engagement Mentorship, through VIVO Media Arts Centre and leading a series of workshops with El Wire through West Point Grey Community Centre through the Fall.
